Commercial Manager. International Weekly B2B Finance Title. To £50k + OTE. Central London Your Profile You must have previous experience at a senior commercial sales level with the desire to become a Publisher within the next 12 months. You are a "do-er" who likes to troubleshoot and turn things around. You must have a strong commercial acumen and experience of P&L. You have experience of leading a team on a weekly title, within the finance sector would be preferable. You thrive under pressure and love getting results. You must be experienced in dealing with top-end decision makers. If you are innovative, experiences and determined you will fit right in. International travel will be involved. A consumer print background will also be considered. The Role You will be pioneering the sales team and driving business forwards. You will be integral in implementing sales processes and adding structure to the current team of four. The magazine targets both the UK and the US, in addition to this they are expanding into Dubai. Your focus will be on developing the weekly magazine, which is why weekly experience is crucial. You will be responsible for implementing new sales systems, processes and structures. Experience at turning a sales team around is a bonus. You must have plenty of passion and be an enthusiastic character. You must be happy to get your hands dirty and sell where necessary and proven results of high revenue/profit is key. The Company This leading global media business has been servicing its customers for over 25 year. They currently publish 7 magazines, several annual supplements and 4 luxurious hardback books. The group produces in excess of 1.4 million magazines a year and sell in over 57 different countries worldwide. They also host 8 annual events each year around the world and have recently moved into the digital arena and will be launching several industry websites this year.
