Media Recruitment Start-up Opportunity London

Up to £30k basic + £50k 1st year OTE + £75k 2nd year OTE

If you are excited by the challenge of starting up your own recruitment division and looking to reap the full rewards for your efforts, then this is an opportunity you should explore further.

Our client is a highly regarded boutique consultancy with a unrivalled reputation in their existing markets. They have a proven track record of successfully incubating and nurturing new businesses within their group, and have all the expertise and resources at hand to deliver a successful media recruitment brand in an as yet under-developed sector. You will be provided with market leading training, state of the art infrastructure and a dedicated marketing team to assist you in your development, combined with the funds needed to invest where it is needed.

A successful candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds, but some experience within the recruitment sector is essential. A history of recruiting in the media sector is not necessary, but a strong business development background is preferable as this will be a major part of the first 6 months of your role. Our client is truly flexible on the level of experience that a successful candidate will bring to the company, and are as happy training a relatively junior consultant with less than 12 months experience as partnering with a senior consultant who is looking for their career defining role.

As the potential leader of a successful team you will be involved in every aspect of recruitment including:

· Cold calling new and existing clients for job opportunities

· Managing existing client relationships & developing new business

· Face to face meetings with clients to sell their services

· Consulting with clients over job descriptions & specifications

· Assessing & interviewing candidates

· Providing continual support to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process

· Making business decisions on market conditions, fee-generation & long term relationships

In return you will be supported every step of the way, given objective advice and offered the recruitment expertise of the directors on board. Above all you will be given the time to build your business the right way for the long term and without the pressure of having to deliver within the first 3 months.
