Job Description

Our client provides permanent and temporary recruitment solutions to clients across a range of industry sectors including Construction, Commercial, Financial, IT, Legal, Sales & Marketing, Driving & logistics, Engineering and Industrial. They are unique in the way they operate as they also operate as a Management Consultancy that works with their clients in helping them structure their organization and offer the most cost effective recruitment solutions for their business.

There are 15 people in this business and they are all based in Leeds but they are also considering the launch of a 2nd site in Manchester. The Directors are all visible in the business and actively act as heads of the divisions and actively generate revenue. This is a very supportive company and the Directors welcome ideas and feedback and will always try and implement solid business ideas that would benefits consultants and the business

The role
They are seeking a senior recruiter to help further develop their Engineering division. This is not a position where you will spend your time cold calling as they have a number of key clients and lots of business is already phoned in. The market is very candidate driven but they are in a strong position with the help of their management consultancy. You will be given support and guidance in this role and you will work with a Director in the business. They have Consultants in the business that are generating up to £20k per month already and there is plenty of business around.

Your background
The role would suit someone who is a senior consultant and perhaps ready for a management role. This would also suit someone who wants to work in a more consultative style and not in a cold sales environment. You will need to have the credibility to liaise with high profile clients and candidates on salaries mainly between £25k and £60k but some would be up to £100k. Applicants also do not need to have recruitment experience, if you have an engineering background within Civil and Structural Engineering and want to start a career in recruitment, this would also be considered. The role is more about matching candidates to positions rather than a cold sales role, therefore it is very unique and different from other propositions you may read.
