My Client requires a Branch Manager to run their Reigate Branches in accordance with CSCI Regulations
This involves the following major responsibilities
1. Business development and marketing activities to identify and secure new business
2. Regular client visits/contact to retain and develop additional business with existing clients
3. Development of a recruitment strategy to match the business needs
4. Performance management of branch staff.
5. Ensure efficient and timely placement of nursing and care staff.
6. Day to day management of the branch, including the maintenance of accurate records.
7. Providing reports/information for Regional Manager/Head Office as required
8. To meet objectives set by Regional/Business Manager
9. Compliance with ISO, and CSCI requirements/legislation
10. Achieve and maintain Registered Manager status with CSCI
11. On call duties as agreed locally.
The Branch Managers' specific duties will include
1. A continuous sales effort to develop the branch in designated markets
2. To asses the branch performance against targets on a weekly and monthly basis, based on P&L's
3. Define a recruitment and retention strategy for the branch
4. Manage the daily operation within the branch to ensure a cost effective and efficient service delivery
5. Ensuring that all recruitment of Nurses and Carers is carried out in accordance with ISO and CSCI requirements
6. Promoting equal opportunities in recruitment, placement and training and development.
7. Identification of training and development needs for branch staff.
8. Dealing with complaints
9. Responsible for first line disciplinary and grievance of branch staff or members.
10. Making presentations to new clients.
11. Key account management
12. Advising on pay and charge rates.
13. Negotiating charge rates with clients.
14. Ensuring effective placement of nursing and care staff in line with client needs
