A recruitment consultant is required, Recruitment or sales qualification/training desirable. Ideally you will have experience in the healthcare and homecare industry. A self-starter, they will focus on Business development in the Branch and surrounding areas.
This involves the following major responsibilities
1. Business development and marketing activities in conjunction with the Branch Manager to identify and secure new business within the designated client groups.
2. Regular client visits/contact to retain and develop additional business with existing clients
3. Continuous recruitment activity to meet client requirements
4. Member retention activities
5. Efficient and timely placement of nursing and care staff.
6. Maintenance of accurate records.
7. To meet objectives and targets defined by the Branch and Regional Managers
8. Have knowledge of and operate in line with ISO and CSCI requirements/legislation
The Recruitment Consultant’s specific duties will include
1. A continuous sales effort to develop the business within the designated sector/s
2. To report weekly to the Branch Manager on sector performance
3. Implement a recruitment and retention plan for the sector
4. Co-ordinate the daily operation for the ‘desk’ and ensure an effective service delivery
5. Carry out recruitment of Nurses and Carers in accordance with ISO and CSCI requirements
6. Conduct recruitment activities that ensure equal opportunities are afforded to all candidates
7. Identification of training and development needs for members.
8. Dealing with initial complaints and referring as necessary
9. First line disciplinary and grievance of branch staff or members.
10. Making presentations to new clients.
11. Providing information and advice to the Branch Manager on pay and charge rates.
12. Negotiating charge rates with clients, as agreed with Branch Manager
13. Ensuring effective placement of nursing and care staff in line with client needs
14. Maintaining up to date and accurate records of all members, clients and placements, in line with procedures set out in Quality manual and as required by CSCI, using Esentinel.
15. Ensuring the accurate processing of weekly timesheets on Esentinel
